Delhi Unlock: Here's what's allowed and what's not from tomorrow

On Sunday Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced ease of few COVID-19 restrictions in a press conference. The development comes on the wake of the declining positive cases in the national capital. A lockdown was imposed in the national capital on 19 April in view of the raging third wave of coronavirus. The restrictions were then extended multiple times until the gradual lifting of curbs started on 31 May. In the first phase of the unlock process, construction and factory work was exempted from the lockdown.

Here's what's allowed 

 

All shops in markets, malls to open from tomorrow
Restaurants to open with 50 per cent capacity
Weekly markets to open from tomorrow, only one market to be to be allowed in each zone
Essential activities will continue
Private offices will run at 50% capacity from 9am to 5pm
All market complexes, malls will completely open from 10am to 8pm
Weddings allowed only at court or homes with not more than 20 peope
Only 20 people allowed at funerals

 

Activities which are not allowed

Schools, colleges, educational and coaching institutions
Social, political, sports, entertainment, academic, cultural, and religious festival gatherings
Swimming pools, stadiums, sports complexes, cinema halls, multiplexes to remain shut.
Spas, gyms, yoga institutes.
Public parks & gardens
Weddings not allowed in public places like banquet halls or hotels.
