Delhi violence: AAP leader Tahir Hussain releases video, claims innocence
After the death of Ankit Sharma, the Intelligence Bureau employee whose body was found in a drain in northeast Delhi most affected by four days of violence over citizenship law protests, in which 32 people have been killed. The family members of Ankit Sharma have accused Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Tahir Hussain of his death. Ankit's father Ravinder Sharma, who is also an IB employee, alleged that supporters of Tahir Hussain had killed his son. He further alleged that his son had been shot after he was beaten; the body has been sent for an autopsy.
After being accused of murder, the AAP councillor released a video claiming that he had no hand in instigating the violence. The AAP councillor has released a video from the house of one of his relatives claiming himself innocent.
