Amid the heatwave prediction massive dust storm has swept through the capital and nearby areas on Friday evening. People shared Several people took to X and shared video of the storm which turned the sky to dusty. Due to dust storm the visibility was significantly reduced and disrupted traffic, as thick clouds of dust enveloped parts of Delhi and Noida.
A day earlier, on Thursday, light rainfall was also reported in some areas of the capital. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted more rainfall in Delhi. The prediction says, Bangalore will also witness rainfall today. Though no sign of relief can be seen in Mumbai as IMD has issued ‘yellow alert’ in Mumbai and some other districts of Maharashtra. The weather in Kolkata will remain partly cloudy today.

The RWFA forecasts cloudy weather for Delhi with a minimum temperature of 23-25°C and a maximum of 36-38°C. Partly cloudy skies are expected today, with some areas experiencing rain and thunderstorms.Delhi's AQI is currently 128 (Moderate), potentially causing discomfort to individuals with lung or heart disease, as well as children and older adults.
