A woman was mauled and bitten by stray dogs at a society in Gaur City-2, Greater Noida, police said on Sunday. The incident occurred late at night when Seema Sarin, who lives on the third floor of the society, went to the basement to retrieve items from her car when she was attacked by a pack of dogs.
It is reported that more than half a dozen stray dogs were already present in the basement. As soon as Seema arrived, the dogs attacked her, biting her in several places on her legs. After managing to reach her flat, she was left with serious wounds on her legs.
The attack was captured on a CCTV camera installed in the basement parking of the society and went viral. In a video, a woman can be seen walking, and suddenly, a pack of stray dogs attack her. One of the dogs also seen biting her from behind.

The family rushed Seema to the doctor for treatment. The victim's family has filed a complaint with the Society’s AOA, highlighting the growing menace of stray dogs in society. They stated that the dogs have been biting residents regularly.
This is not the first incident of such attacks in this society under the Bisrakh police station area. Several videos of stray dog attacks in the Greater Noida society have gone viral on social media. The society has been urged to take action against the stray dogs.
