Serve tremors were felt in Delhi and nearby areas after an earthquake of magnitude 7.2 on the Richter scale struck Myanmar on Friday, March 28, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS). According to the NCS report, the quake was at a depth of 10 kilometers and was felt at 11.50 PM (IST). 

However, no reports of casualties or injuries have been reported yet. Tremors were also felt in neighbouring regions like Bangkok, Thailand. "EQ of M: 7.2, On: 28/03/2025 11:50:52 IST, Lat: 21.93 N, Long: 96.07 E, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Myanmar," the NCS posted on X.

Social media visuals show buildings shaking in Thailand and water falling from a rooftop pool after the earthquake.

Another video shared on X shows Chandelier shaking heavily in the house due to strong earthquake in Myanmar.
