A dramatic and heart-stopping incident unfolded in Karnataka's Hassan district when a wild elephant suddenly charged at a group of forest department workers, forcing them into a life-threatening situation. The workers, who were in the area as part of their routine monitoring duties, were caught off guard when the elephant, seemingly agitated, began charging toward them.

The forest team, which was conducting a survey in a forested area, had no time to react when the elephant appeared unexpectedly. Witnesses say that the animal, known for its unpredictable nature, seemed to have become territorial or disturbed, triggering its aggressive behavior. Realizing the immediate danger, the forest workers sprinted to safety, narrowly escaping the enraged animal’s charge. Fortunately, despite the close call, no one was injured
