The Employees Provident Fund (EPFO) allows its account holders to update their bank details at home. So you can easily update your bank account with PF account. If the bank account information is not updated, you will not be able to withdraw money from your PF account. It often happens that the customer has already closed the bank account associated with the PF account. But don't forget to link the new bank account with the PF account. If the wrong bank account details are linked to your UAN, don't worry.

Employees can update bank account details at UAN from home. So here's how to update your bank details ...

Here's how to update your bank account details ...

>> First go to EPFO's Unified Member Portal https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/.>> Log in with UAN and password>> Then go to 'Manage' option in the top menu, then select 'KYC' from the drop down menu.>> Now select your bank and upload the bank account number, name and IFSC code and click on 'Save' button.>> Once this information is approved by the employer, your updated bank details will appear in the approved KYC section.>> Then provide proof to your employer.

Here's how to check PF balance ...>> EPFO members have to go to the website www.epfindia.gov.in.>> Then click on 'For Employees' option from 'Our Services' tab.>> Then click on 'Member Passbook' from the 'Services' tab.>> You need to enter your UAN and password to log in. You will then be able to view your PF account passbook.
