Farmers in Punjab, led by the Bhartiya Kisan Union (Krantikari) have announced a new one-day protest against the State Government over several demands, including paddy procurement, starting from Phagwara Main Chowk. Surjeet Singh Phul, Chairman of Bhartiya Kisan Union (Krantikari) Punjab, stated, "On October 26, we will block roads at four points. The protest will begin at 1 PM, and we will sit on the streets."
According to the farmer leader, the "chakka jam" will be strategically organized at one location each in Sangrur and Moga districts, as well as in Phagwara and Batala. This protest is set to continue indefinitely if necessary.
