Gold Prices Continue Upward Trend! 24K Gold Nears Rs 87,000, Silver Touches Rs 97,000, Check Latest Rates

The prices of gold and silver have once again witnessed a significant surge today. On February 19, 24-carat gold has reached a record high of Rs 86,430 per 10 grams, marking another milestone. Meanwhile, silver prices have also increased significantly. Today, the price of 24-carat gold rose by Rs 740 per 10 grams, bringing it to Rs 86,430 per 10 grams. At the same time, silver prices climbed by Rs 977 per kg, reaching Rs 97,000 per kg. Notably, in February alone, gold has become Rs 4,344 more expensive.

The India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA) has announced these rates, excluding GST. However, gold and silver prices may vary by Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,000 in different cities.

Updated Gold Prices (as per IBJA):

23-carat gold: Up by Rs 737, now at Rs 86,084 per 10 grams
22-carat gold: Increased by Rs 678, now at Rs 78,492 per 10 grams
18-carat gold: Rose by Rs 555, now at Rs 64,823 per 10 grams
14-carat gold: Up by Rs 433, now at Rs 50,562 per 10 grams

Gold Becomes Costlier by Rs 10,690 This Year

With this latest surge, gold has become ₹10,690 more expensive since the beginning of the year. On December 31, 2024, gold was priced at ₹75,740 per 10 grams, while silver stood at ₹86,017 per kg. By January 31, 2025, gold had already climbed to ₹82,165 per 10 grams, reflecting a steady upward trend.
