Four men from Delhi attacked a group of bikers on the Dwarka Expressway in Gurugram on Sunday morning. The men, traveling in a Scorpio, used baseball bats to assault the bikers near Basai Village. One of the bikers, Hardik Sharma, was injured in the attack and sustained a hand injury, which doctors suspect may be a fracture. A video of the incident shows the bikers apologising to the attackers, but the men continued to threaten and beat him.
What Exactly Happend?
According to the reports, the incident took place when 11 members of the Kawasaki Bike Riders group gathered near Ambience Mall on the Delhi-Jaipur highway. The group was on their way to a restaurant in Pachgaon for breakfast. While riding, the bikers were followed by the men in the Scorpio. Sharma said the Scorpio driver was aggressively trying to hit their bikes. The bikers decided to pull over after the vehicle passed them. They stopped at the Basai Village flyover. The Scorpio followed and stopped in front of the bikers. The four men got out of the vehicle and began attacking the bikers with baseball bats. Ten of the bikers managed to escape, but Sharma was caught by the men. They hit him with the bats. However, Sharma was protected from serious injury by his helmet.
The attackers then proceeded to damage Sharma’s motorcycle, which is valued at approximately 11 lakh rupees. Sharma's hand was injured, and doctors will determine if it is fractured. Sharma reportedly claimed that the attackers appeared to be intoxicated at the time of the incident. Reports suggest the men operate a gym in Delhi. A case has been filed at Sector-37 police station in Gurugram.
