Ahead of the Haryana Assembly budget session starting tomorrow, Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Thursday raised concerns over unemployment, law and order, and the state's increasing debt burden. Speaking to reporters, Hooda stated, "Let the budget be presented. There are several pressing issues, including unemployment, law and order, and Haryana's growing financial liabilities."
Meanwhile, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini emphasized that the government aims to present a budget focused on the prosperity of every citizen. His statement followed a two-day *pre-budget consultation meeting held earlier this week.

According to an official statement, the discussions aimed to shape an inclusive budget based on valuable insights and suggestions from stakeholders.
Saini expressed gratitude for the contributions made during the consultation, stating that the government has been actively engaging with various groups to align the budget with the aspirations of Haryana's people. "We are committed to creating a budget that reflects the needs and expectations of our citizens," he said.
Key focus areas discussed during the meeting included road infrastructure, sports facilities, water and electricity supply, transport, industrial development, digitization of government departments, equitable irrigation water distribution, and addressing cybercrime. Additionally, the government emphasized efforts to eradicate the drug network, rehabilitate addicts, and promote natural farming.
