Haryana Congress Worker Murder Case: “Accused Killed Her With Mobile Charging Cable,” Says ADGP Rohtak Range (Watch Video)

Addressing a press conference over the murder case of Congress worker Himani Nirwal, Krishan Kumar Rao, ADGP, Rohtak Range, said that the accused Sachin killed her with a mobile charging cable and took her jewelry, phone, and laptop to his shop. He said that there was a financial transaction that took place between the two.

He said that the accused and the victim were fighting in the evening, and the police will learn more about the reason behind the fight after questioning the accused in their remand.

Addressing the press conference on March 3, Rao said, “Accused Sachin, who runs a mobile shop in Jhajjar, has been arrested. The accused and the deceased had met through social media, and he used to visit her house. She used to stay alone in Vijay Nagar Rohtak.”

Mentioning the fight between the victim and the accused that led to murder, he said, “On February 27, he came to her house, and they had a fight over something, and he killed her with the help of a mobile charger cable. After this, he took her jewelry, phone, and laptop to his shop in Jhajjar. The accused later packed the body of the deceased in a suitcase kept in the house and threw it in the bushes near the Sampla bus stand. We will take the remand of the accused, and during the remand, it will be known why there was a fight between them.”

Speaking about the financial transaction, he said, “There was also a financial transaction between them; we will also verify that. All things will be verified during the investigation.”

The police found bite marks and scratches on the hands of the accused. He confessed to police that the victim tried to bite him in her defence, reported ANI.

Upon hearing that the accused was arrested, the victim's brother demanded the death penalty and said they don’t know who the accused is, and police have not given them any updates yet about the accused, reported ANI.
