Haryana Police stalls preparations for a wedding ceremony for violating Coronavirus lockdown
Preparations for a wedding ceremony were stalled by the police in Fatehabad for violating Coronavirus Lockdown. "We have registered a report on this matter and are verifying facts", says Subhash Chandra, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Fatehabad.
India has been put under complete lockdown for 21 days. All public transport have been banned while any kind of non-essential movement outside the house has also been prohibited.
Coronavirus cases in India crossed 600 as authorities beefed up preparedness to fight the pandemic. The number of deaths around the world from the novel coronavirus cases is stated to have crossed 19,000.
