India's total number of Coronavirus positive cases has risen to 29,974 (including 22010 active cases, 7027 cured/discharged/migrated and 937 deaths), said Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. 

1594 new cases and 51 deaths reported in last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, India's recovery rate is now 23.3%. This is a progressive increase in recovery rate, said Lav Agrawal,Jt Secy,Health Ministry.

The country is under lockdown until May 3. The lifting of the lockdown depends on the situation and compliance of the lockdown rules by people.
