IBPS Clerk 2020 : Notification for 1558 vacanies announced, exams to be held in December

IBPS clerk 2020 notification has been released by the official The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. Candidates can apply for the examination through the official website ibps.in. IBPS selects candidates for the post of clerk on the basis of written exam. There would be no interview for selection to this post. In total 11 nationalized banks have participated this year in the IBPS clerk recruitment and 1558 vacancies have been reported. The centralized examinations covering all public sector banks’ recruitment started on a limited scale the same year. The process was made entirely online in late 2020.The participating organisations include Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, UCO Bank, Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Punjab and Sind Bank and Indian Bank. 

Shortlisted applicants will be called for IBPS Clerk 2020 Exam which is scheduled to be held on  December 5, 12 and 13, 2020. Candidates who would qualify in the prelims exam will be called for the mains exam which is scheduled on 24 January 2021. This year there are no vacancies for Andaman and Nicobar Islands and for bigger states like Assam and Andhra Pradesh the total number of vacancies is less than 20 in numbers. In Delhi NCT, a number of 67 vacancies have been notified. In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, 5 Vacancies are available whereas no vacancies have been notified in Ladakh. The highest number of vacancies 334 posts have been reported from Maharashtra.
