Income Tax Department raids Dainik Bhaskar Group's offices at multiple locations

Income Tax Department raided several offices of the Dainik Bhaskar group across the country on Thursday. The searches are going on in connection with tax evasion case, at multiple locations including promoters' residences & offices.

The team is searching in premises of Dainik Bhaskar in Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra.

Dainik Bhaskar group is one of the largest newspaper groups in the country. The media company reported actively on the devastation of the second wave of Covid.

Dainik Bhaskar put out a series of reports that took a critical look at official claims during the pandemic.
