Indore Police Inspector Dies of Heart Attack During Holi Duty, Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Offers Condolences

Indore, Madhya Pradesh (March 15, 2025): Police Inspector Sanjay Pathak died of a heart attack while on duty during Holi celebrations in Indore. Pathak, who was stationed in Betma, complained of chest pain and was rushed to Bombay Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Originally from Bhopal, Pathak was a 1988-batch officer posted at the IG Office in Indore. His sudden death led the police department to cancel the Holi Milan event planned for Saturday at the DRP Line.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed his condolences on social media. Sharing a video, he called Pathak’s passing “extremely saddening” and prayed for his soul’s peace.

Senior officials visited the hospital after the news broke. Pathak is survived by his wife and two daughters.
