It is a fight between I.N.D.I.A. V/s NDA or I.N.D.I.A V/s BJP: Rahul Gandhi

“The idea of India is being attacked by the ideology of the BJP. The fight is against the ideology and thinking of BJP and Prime Minister Modi.” This was stated by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi while addressing the media today at the two-day opposition parties meeting in Bengaluru. He further said that the country’s wealth is being snatched from millions of Indians and being handed over to a few business people who are close to the Prime Minister and BJP. Unemployment is spreading and prices are rising. The fight is not between the opposition and BJP. The fight is not between two political formations. but the voice of India is suppressed and hence, the fight is for the voice of our country. The fight is a fight to defend the idea of I.N.D.I.A. And so, the name has been chosen and emerged "I.N.D.I.A. Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance" and which happens to stand for India. Rahul further said, “We all opposition parties will work unitedly and prepare our work plan and agenda. We will be defending the voice of Indians, defending the constitution and our country.”

It has been decided in the two-day meet and all 26 parties agreed to give one name to the alliance and that is “I.N.D.I.A. Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance. AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge in his opening speech at the two-day opposition parties meet in Bengaluru said, "Congress is not interested in the PM’s post. BJP cheated NDA allies. Allegedly agencies have been misused against the opposition.” Clearly, Congress is boosting the confidence of the alliance, and Congress seems to be ready to reach out to the small alliances. Kharge with this one statement cleared that the party is not interested in the Prime Minister’s post.

He further said that MLAs were lured through bribery and blackmail. He said, “We are not interested in gaining power or in the PM's post.” Kharge mentioned that among many issues the media too is captured by PM Modi and without his signal, nobody moves. I have seen this in my career. He said, “I have not seen in my long 52 years of active career such hostile information against us or against the opposition parties and suppressing the opposition leaders. We will fight unitedly against this situation and together we will contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. We will come out successfully.”

Kharge further stated, “All parties have differences of opinion but the country is foremost for all of us. To save our country and democracy we have gathered here and discussed this issue during the meet. We have discussed vital problems like unemployment, inflation etc.” He said, “In Patna, 16 parties joined and here in Bengaluru 26 parties have come. After seeing this PM Modi called NDA meeting with 30 parties. I have a long association in the political domain but I have not heard of these parties or whether these are registered in the election commission. Earlier, they did not care about their own party. And now PM Modi is collecting the broken pieces through these 30 so-called parties. That means PM Modi is afraid of the opposition parties.” Kharge said that we will highlight the problems and issues, and failures of the government and go to every state throughout the country. He announced the next opposition parties meeting will be held in Mumbai. A coordination committee of 11 people will be formed in the Mumbai meeting. Mamta Banerjee said, “We are for the country. We are a good economy and challenge the BJP. I.N.D.I.A our alliance challenges NDA. Our all programs, campaigning, and publicity will be done under one banner called I.N.D.I.A. BJP is trading our country, democracy but we have to save our country. We all opposition parties applied politically section 420.”

Former CM Uddhav Thackeray said that parties from different ideologies have gathered here to fight against policy and dictatorship. We are here to save our country and for freedom. People in the form of I.N.D.I.A. will come forward.” “People are angry with the central government. BJP will be eliminated in the next Lok Sabha Polls.” As stated by the Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav before participating in the Mahagatabandhan, the opposition parties meet in Bengaluru today. He said that the opposition party meeting was necessary as the country and the citizens have to be protected. The number of votes BJP got in the election is less. The number of opposing forces was more. But BJP came to power due to a lack of unity. It will not be allowed this time. He said that we are all united, will fight together, and defeat the BJP.
