Jagdeep Dhankhar Health Update: Vice President of India Discharged From AIIMS; Advised Complete Rest

Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, was discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi on Wednesday, March 12, after making a "satisfactory recovery" from heart-related ailments. Dhankhar had been admitted to the prestigious hospital on March 9, following complaints of chest pain and uneasiness.

A statement issued by AIIMS confirmed the Vice President’s hospitalization, noting that he was promptly admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) and placed under the care of Dr. Rajiv Narang, the head of cardiology at AIIMS. The 73-year-old politician, also the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, was under close observation and received necessary treatment from the hospital’s medical team.“After receiving the required care, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar made a satisfactory recovery and was discharged on March 12,” the hospital said in the statement.

Doctors have advised the Vice President to take adequate rest for the next few days, as part of his recovery process. Dhankhar had been rushed to the hospital early on Sunday morning, around 2 a.m., following complaints of chest pain and uneasiness. His stable condition was promptly confirmed by hospital reports, offering relief to his supporters and the public.
