Prime Minister Narendra Modi's return to Delhi was delayed due to a technical snag in his aircraft. The aircraft had to remain at Deoghar Airport in Jharkhand on Thursday, November 15, as the Prime Minister was concluding his visit to Jharkhand amid assembly elections. The aircraft experienced issues that necessitated precautionary measures, prompting the crew to land safely and remain grounded for further checks.

PM Mod addressed two poll rallies in Jharkhand on Friday, on the on the occasion of tribal icon Birsa Munda anniversary, which is celebrated as Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, and ahead of the second round of polling for the Assembly elections in the state on November 20.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi's copper remained grounded for 45 minutes awaiting clearance from the air traffic control authorities. Gandhi's helicopter is nearly 80 km away from Deoghar, in Jharkhand' Godda. 

The Congress had pointed to the PM's rally near Deoghar, suggesting that his event was being prioritised over Mr Gandhi's movements. The chopper was allowed to take off 45 minutes later.
