Marriages are said to made in heaven but sometimes all hell can break lose over unexpected reasons that end up breaking this bond even before it’s formed. 

A groom refused to turn up at his wedding in Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, allegedly called off the wedding for want of more dowry.

The wedding was scheduled Kanpur. The bride was doing her makeup in a beauty parlor when he suddenly got a message from the groom that he is cancelling the wedding and won't marry her. 

Shortly before the wedding, people from groom's side sent a message that they had called off the wedding.

The message shocked the bride who was waiting for her most awaited day in her life. The bride informed her family about the message that she received from groom. After which the bride family informed the police and they started investigation.

Pushpalta, who lives in Kangaganj Colony in Panki Police Station area of ​​Kanpur, was supposed to get married to Kranti Singh of Maharajpur. The wedding was scheduled for April 28. All preparations were done for the wedding day at the girl's house. The bride was doing her makeup in the beauty parlor with her friends. The girl told the police that the marriage was canceled due to the dowry demand. Puspalata made it clear that she would not marry Kranti Singh anymore. And she will definitely punish Kranti Singh and his family. She said the cancellation of the marriage in this way was a big disgrace. Rs 30 lakh were already spent for the wedding. We had bought a car worth Rs 12 lakh. However, the greedy of dowry groom's family people was not satisfied.
