"The co-ordination committee has decided in its meeting dated November 13 that instead of visiting the Home Minister on November 15, the protesting advocates shall march towards the Parliament House with a huge strength of advocates from across India, primarily from the National Capital Region, on November 20," said Ikrant Sharma, Vice President, Delhi Bar Association (DBA).

He added that the committee is seeking support of advocates from the entire country as a show of strength.

"To present our strength in huge numbers, it was decided that the protest march will take place on November 20 from Patiala House court to Parliament House. Abstinence from work will continue till further notice," Sharma said.

Earlier in the day, the Delhi Police resumed work at the Tis Hazari court complex where clashes had erupted between the police and lawyers on November 2.

The lawyers, however, have abstained from work.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Monika Bhardwaj met District Judge Girish Kathpalia on Thursday and appraised him that the force has resumed the task of securing the court premises, sources in Delhi Police said.

Meanwhile, a large number of advocates marched on the streets near the Saket court on Thursday, raising "we want justice" slogans and holding placards, bringing traffic in the area to a halt for half-an-hour.
