A horrific crime has occurred in Narsinghgarh, Madhya Pradesh, where an 11-year-old girl with hearing and speech impairments was brutally attacked and murdered. The accused, Ramesh Singh, is a convicted rapist with a disturbing history of violence against minors.
Singh's history of offenses dates back to 2003 when he raped a 5-year-old girl in Shajapur district. He served a 10-year prison sentence for this crime. In 2014, just a year after his release, he kidnapped and raped an 8-year-old girl in Ashta, for which he received a death sentence from the lower court. However, in 2019, the High Court overturned the death sentence due to a technicality during the victim's identification parade, allowing Singh to go free.
This past February 1-2, the 11-year-old victim disappeared from her home in Narsinghgarh. Her body, bearing signs of a brutal assault, was discovered the following morning. She died in a Bhopal hospital on February 8th.Following the tragedy, police initiated an investigation, reviewing CCTV footage and tracking Singh's movements. He was apprehended on a train to Jaipur after fleeing to Prayagraj.
