A resident of Wardha, Vinod Kshirsagar, arrived at a polling booth on Friday with his pet monkey, 'Bajrang,' to cast his vote for LokSabha Election 2024 in Maharashtra.

Wardha Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 48 parliamentary seats in Maharashtra. The constituency comprises six assembly segments which are Dhamangaon Railway (BJP), Morshi (SWP), Arvi (BJP), Deoli-Pulgaon (Congress), Hinganghat (BJP), and Wardha (BJP).

Voter With Monkey at Polling Booth:

Ramdas Tadas of BJP is the incumbent MP of Wardha and he will try to retain the seat this time. Other top contenders include Amar Sharadrao Kale from the Nationalist Congress Party-Sharadchandra Pawar (NCP-SP) and Professor Rajendra Salunkhe from the Vanchit Bahujan Aaghadi (VBA).
