Manan Kumar Mishra Re-Elected As Bar Council of India Chairman for 7th Consecutive Term
Senior Advocate Manan Kumar Mishra has been re-elected chairman of the Bar Council of India (BCI) for a seventh consecutive term. Mishra, a Rajya Sabha member from Bihar representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), was elected unopposed.

The election for the vice chairman position is still underway. S Prabhakaran of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and Ved Prakash Sharma of Delhi are contesting for the post. The election is scheduled for March 2. Once the vice chairman is elected, the executive committee members will be selected under the leadership of the newly re-elected chairman.
