At least seven were killed and several others were injured after an autorickshaw collided with a truck on Masaurhi-Naubatpur in Bihar on Sunday night, February 23. After the collision between vehicles, both fell into a ditch. Locals have blocked the road, accusing the administration of negligence. The injured people were transported to a nearby local hospital for treatment.
According to the information, the autorickshaw was travelling from Masaurhi to Naubatpur when it collided with a truck. Seven people died on the spot. There were 10 passengers in the auto, all of whom were reportedly labourers. Bodies of the deceased were sent for the post-mortem.
Sahwan Panchayat Mukhiya Ravi Prakash said, "This incident involves laborers from Sahwan and Charma Panchayats, who were working in Patna and returning home when the tragic accident occurred. Seven young lives were lost in Masaurhi..."

The collision took place near the bridge at Noora Bazaar on the Masaurhi-Pitwans Road. According to the families of the deceased, all the labourers were returning to their village, Kharat, after working in Patna. Police said the accident took place at around 9.30 on Sunday near Noora bridge.
