The Madhya Pradesh Police is on high alert following the recent violence in Mhow town, Indore. Security measures have been intensified, especially in the capital, Bhopal, with the upcoming Holi festival and Friday prayers. The police have devised a comprehensive strategy to maintain peace and order, including flag marches, barrier checks, and social media monitoring.

On Tuesday night, the Bhopal Police and Rapid Action Force (RAF) conducted a flag march in the old city, covering more than 25 sensitive areas, including Moti Masjid, Sadar Manzil, and Qazi Camp. This march was aimed at sending a strong message to anti-social elements. Old Bhopal has the highest concentration of mosques, attracting large gatherings for Friday prayers, while Holi celebrations also see large processions and crowds.

The Bhopal Police have urged citizens to maintain peace and ignore rumors. They have emphasized the importance of communal harmony during Holi and Friday prayers. Authorities have assured that no anti-social elements will be spared, and law and order will be upheld at all costs. This heightened vigilance is part of broader efforts to ensure peace and security across Madhya Pradesh after the Mhow incident.
