Mhow Violence: Police and RAF Conduct Flag March in Indore Ahead of Holi, 1,000 Security Personnel to Be Deployed

The Madhya Pradesh Police is on high alert following the recent violence in Mhow town, Indore. Security measures have been intensified, especially in the capital, Bhopal, with the upcoming Holi festival and Friday prayers. On Tuesday night, the Bhopal Police and Rapid Action Force (RAF) conducted a flag march in the old city, covering more than 25 sensitive areas, including Moti Masjid, Sadar Manzil, and Qazi Camp. This march was aimed at sending a strong message to anti-social elements. Old Bhopal has the highest concentration of mosques, attracting large gatherings for Friday prayers, while Holi celebrations also see large processions and crowds.

The police have implemented a special strategy to ensure smooth coordination between Holi processions and Friday prayers. In many locations, processions and mosques are in close proximity, requiring careful management.
