In the early hours of Saturday, a multi-story structure collapsed in the Mustafabad neighbourhood of Delhi, killing four people and trapping ten more. The Delhi Police and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have sent rescue teams to the scene, and efforts are in progress to free trapped people. According to police, 14 individuals were rescued from the wreckage and sent to a hospital, where four of them passed away.
Rescue efforts are underway for an estimated ten other individuals who are apparently trapped beneath the wreckage. Around 2:30 am, as the residents were sound asleep, the structure collapsed. The incident comes as Delhi's weather abruptly changed on Friday night, with thunderstorms and heavy rain hitting multiple areas of the city.

The incident happened at 3 am, said Sandeep Lamba, Additional DCP, North East District. Four of the 14 people who were rescued died; the rescue effort is still in progress. The structure was four stories high. Eight to ten people are still thought to be trapped, he added.
