A speeding Lamborghini crashed into two laborers sitting on a footpath in Noida’s Sector 94 on Sunday afternoon police. The workers suffered serious injuries and were rushed to a hospital for treatment. Bystanders rushed to the scene as the driver remained inside the car and reportedly asked, “Did anyone die?” before stepping out. Police took the injured to a hospital for treatment and arrested the driver. A video of the incident surfaced online showing people confronting him at the scene.
Police have arrested the driver and the injured workers are receiving treatment at a hospital. The accident happened on Sunday afternoon when some laborers were standing on a divider. A high-speed Lamborghini lost control and climbed onto the divider hitting two laborers. One suffered a broken leg while the other sustained serious injuries. Both are from Chhattisgarh and are undergoing treatment.
The injured laborers identified as Ravidas and Rambhu Kumar were sitting on the footpath when the speeding Lamborghini ran over them and crashed into a tree. Police arrested the driver Deepak Kumar a resident of Ajmer and seized the car. Deepak claimed he was taking the vehicle for a test drive when he noticed some issues which led to the accident. He works as a broker in the luxury car sales business.
Noida Police confirmed that the accident occurred near the Sector 94 intersection under Sector 126 police station limits. The Lamborghini is registered in the name of YouTuber Mridul Tiwari. Police have taken him in for questioning. A case has been registered and legal action is underway.
