Operation Chatru: 3 Pakistani Terrorists Killed During Ongoing Encounter in Kishtwar
During the major ongoing encounter and operation in the Chatru region of Kishtwar in Jammua and Kashmir, at least three terrorists have been killed so far by the Indian security forces. The operation began on Wednesday, April 9, when the security forces posted to border areas spotted and shot a terrorist.
"Based on specific #intelligence, a joint search and destroy #operation along with @JmuKmrPolice was launched on 09 Apr in #Chhatru forest #Kishtwar. Contact was established late evening on the same day. The #terrorists were effectively engaged and firefight ensued. One #terrorist has thus far been neutralised. Despite hostile terrain & adverse weather, relentless operations by our #brave #Soldiers continues," said White Knight Corps in a post on X.

The body of the shot militant was recovered on the next day (April 11), later in the afternoon between 1 pm to 2 pm, a fresh firng between terrorist and Indian Army with Jammu and Kashmir Police's Special Operations Group (SOG). Took place, and two more terrorists were killed in the encounter.

In the ongoing operations at #Chhatru, Kishtwar, despite bad and inclement weather, two more Pakistani terrorists have been eliminated. A large quantity of war like stores including One AK and One M4 rifle have been recovered.
