Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, June 13, has taken decisive steps in response to the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, as reported by news agency ANI.

The Prime Minister chaired a high-level review meeting and instructed the National Security Advisor (NSA) and other top officials to mobilize the entirety of the nation's counter-terror capabilities.

Prime Minister Modi also engaged with Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss the immediate deployment of security forces and intensified counter-terror operations in the region.  Additionally, he communicated with J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to assess and strategise in light of the prevailing circumstances.

Security forces have intensified their search operation in the Kota Top area of Gandoh in Doda district, following an exchange of fire with terrorists in which a Special Operations Group (SOG) constable was injured on Wednesday night.

Efforts to locate the terrorists have ramped up, with forces combing the jungles and implementing heightened security measures.
