Poetry festival 'Jashn-e-Adab' is back in Delhi

(life) Poetry festival 'Jashn-e-Adab' is back in the capital with its ninth edition. The event that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of India is scheduled for March 20, 21 and 22, 2020 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) at India International Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

New Delhi, March 5 (life) Poetry festival 'Jashn-e-Adab' is back in the capital with its ninth edition. The event that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of India is scheduled for March 20, 21 and 22, 2020 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) at India International Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

The festival will celebrate the greatness of Indian cultural heritage with an array of performances by internationally acclaimed Indian artistes from the field of poetry, music, dance, theatre and literature.

Curated programmes of Mushaira, Kavi Sammelan, Dastangoi, Qawwali, Ghazal, classical dance performance, Sufi singing, Art gallery and book exhibition will be held.

Padma Bhushan Sharda Sinha (folk singer), Padma Shri Prof. Ashok Chakradhar (poet), Rahat Indori (shayar and lyricist), Saurabh Shukla (Bollywood actor), Shri Quaiser Khalid IPS (Inspector General of Police, Maharashtra), Shri Abhigyan Prakash (journalist), Kumud Mishra (Bollywood actor), Yashpal Sharma (Bollywood actor and theatre artiste), Rajpal Yadav (Bollywood actor), Sufi Brothers - Hamsar Hayat Nizami & Athar Hayat Nizami, Vidha Lal (Kathak dancer), RJ Raunac, RJ Naved, Irshad Kamil (Poet and Lyricist), and Shri Ranjeet Chauhan (Founder of Jashn-e-Adab and renowned shayar) would be participating in the event.

When: March 20- 22

Timings: 10 am to 10 pm

Venue: India International Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi

Entry: Free entry
