Prayagraj Fire: Blaze Erupts At Tent House, No Casualties Reported

On April 19, a huge fire started at a tent house godown in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Firefighters arrived at the scene after being informed. Senior officials hurried to the scene of the fire as well. Videos of the fire also appeared on the internet. The entire area was enveloped in black smoke, which made the people fear. Massive flames could also be seen rising from the godown in the images. No injuries have been reported as of yet. Additionally, the level of collateral damage is unknown.

The firebrigade is trying to control fire but it is a little difficult task for them as fire is increasing as there is a lot of wood in that area. 

According to reports Lalluji and Sons tent house caught blaze. It was the same tent house who was responsible for putting up tents in the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025.  The company was setting up tents for many sangams and events for decades. There is no report of any loss due to this fire.

According to the information received, apart from the office of Lalluji & Sons Company and Parade Ground in Prayagraj, it is also in Jhunsi, Rambagh and Naini. The warehouse in Parade Ground is on fire. As soon as the information about this fire was received early in the morning, fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. Many fire engines are engaged in extinguishing the fire. There is difficulty in extinguishing the fire due to bamboo sticks and other inflammable materials. Fire brigade employees are constantly trying to control the fire.

Officials say that the fire will be controlled soon. Cause of the fire remains unknown.
