The BSF will take up the matter and issue a strong protest note to their counterparts across the border -- Pakistan Rangers -- once a "technical and forensic" investigation concludes, sources in the force told PTI.
According to ABP News, the troops detected suspected IEDs with a network of concealed wires in the fields, confirming the presence of multiple IEDs. The concealed detonating device of the IEDs got triggered, resulting in a serious leg injury to the BSJ soldier. The remaining IEDs were defused after daybreak, the force said. The incident took place in the jurisdiction of the Dorangla police station.
