Rajasthan: Man Gets Entangled in Hot Air Balloon Rope, Falls to Death After It Snaps; VIDEO Surfaces
A man died after getting entangled in a hot air balloon and falling from a height of about 100 feet during the 35th foundation day celebrations of Baran district, officials said. The incident, which was caught on camera, happened on Wednesday morning. The victim, identified as Vasudev Khatri from Kota, was part of a team testing the hot air balloon before its launch.

According to the reports, Khatri was standing on the ground when he suddenly got caught in one of the balloon’s ropes. As the balloon took off, he was lifted into the air. Moments later, the rope snapped, causing him to fall. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The hot air balloon belonged to a company that had previously worked with the district administration, reports said.

Following the accident, Baran District Collector Rohitash Singh Tomar announced the cancellation of all remaining events planned for the three-day celebrations, which began on Tuesday. Authorities are investigating the incident.
