Rajasthan Shocker: 25-Year-Old Student Strangled to Death in Dausa for Refusing to Apply Color During Holi; Video Surfaces

A 25-year-old student was allegedly strangled to death in Rajasthan’s Dausa district after he tried to stop three men from applying color on him during Holi. The incident happened in Ramawas village, where the student Hansraj Meena was attacked inside a government library. The assault was recorded on camera and the footage has gone viral on social media.

How the Attack Happened

On the day of Holi, students were studying inside the government library while others played outside. Meena stepped out when three brothers tried to apply color on him. When he refused, they began beating him. He ran inside the library for safety, but the attackers, along with others, followed him. They continued the assault and strangled him.

Other students tried to intervene, but Meena collapsed. He was rushed to a hospital in Lalsot, where doctors declared him dead.

Protest and Police Action

After Meena’s death, his family forcibly took his body from the hospital. A scuffle broke out between them, hospital staff, and police. The body was then placed on the road outside the library as villagers blocked the highway.

The protest lasted for eight hours, leading to long traffic queues on both sides of the road.

Accused Identified, Police Search Underway

Assistant Superintendent of Police Dinesh Agarwal confirmed that Meena was strangled inside the library. Six special teams have been formed to arrest the accused.

Police identified the suspects using CCTV footage. The accused have been named as Ashok, Kaluram, and Bablu. A search operation is underway to locate them.
