Rajkot Accident: 5 Killed as Truck Collides with Auto-Rickshaw Near Maliyasan in Gujarat (Watch Video)

A devastating accident near Maliyasan in Rajkot has left five people dead after a collision between a truck and an auto-rickshaw. Emergency teams, including five ambulances and a police convoy, rushed to the scene as soon as the incident was reported.

The impact was so severe that the auto-rickshaw was crushed under the truck. A crowd gathered immediately as locals attempted to assist in the rescue operation. Officials confirmed that five people had died, while two others remained trapped inside the wreckage. Efforts to save the trapped individuals continued with the help of rescue teams and villagers from Maliyasan and surrounding areas. The rickshaw has since been pulled out from under the truck.

The accident in Rajkot follows another fatal collision on the Dwarka-Porbandar highway. Late Monday night, a bus carrying devotees from Karnataka crashed into a truck near Kuchhadi village. Two passengers died at the scene, and seven others sustained injuries. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

In another recent incident, an ST bus accident in Dadra and Nagar Haveli claimed two lives. The bus, traveling from Selvas to Vapi, veered onto the wrong side after the driver lost control. The vehicle collided with two people on a moped, killing both victims instantly.
