The holy city of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh had a miraculous moment on the auspicious festival of Ram Navami when a ray of sunshine fell directly on the forehead of the Ram Lalla idol—a phenomenon known as the "Surya Tilak." With the sunbeam shining on the deity's forehead, this celestial event symbolically commemorated the birth of Lord Ram and gave the festivities a more spiritual touch. The "Surya Tilak" took place at precisely noon when a ray of sunshine was focused on the idol of Ram Lalla's forehead, creating a celestial tilak.
