Rapid corona tests begin in Kerala

Kerala Minister for Tourism Kadakampally Surendran, the minister looking after Covid activities in the state capital district, said that rapid tests to detect the virus began on Saturday.

Thiruvananthapuram, April 4 Kerala Minister for Tourism Kadakampally Surendran, the minister looking after Covid activities in the state capital district, said that rapid tests to detect the virus began on Saturday.

He said samples were taken from 171 people who are kept in isolation at three corona care centres in the state capital.

According to the Minister, the results of these are available quicker than the normal testing procedures at present.
