A brutal murder case has emerged from the Rohtak district of Haryana, reminiscent of the shocking Saurabh Rajput murder case in Meerut. In Meerut, a woman, along with her lover, killed her husband. In Rohtak, however, a husband's rage led to the horrific murder of his wife's lover.
The victim, Jagdeep, a yoga teacher at Baba Mastnath University, was abducted on December 24, 2024. Three months later, on March 24, 2025, his body was recovered by the police. The investigation revealed that Jagdeep was buried alive in a seven-foot-deep pit in Pantawas village, Charkhi Dadri, about 61 km from Rohtak, according to the media report.
Jagdeep, a resident of Mandothi village in the Jhajjar district, went missing after returning home from work. His abduction was linked to an extramarital affair. The woman's husband, along with his accomplices, kidnapped Jagdeep, tied his hands and feet, gagged him with tape, and buried him alive in a deserted field.

A missing person report was filed 10 days later, on February 3, at Shivaji Colony police station. The police conducted an extensive three-month search before tracking down the main accused through Jagdeep’s call records. Two suspects, Hardeep and Dharampal, have been arrested, and police are investigating their accomplices.
CIA-1 in-charge Kuldeep Singh confirmed the arrests and stated that further interrogation is underway to uncover the full extent of the crime.
