New Delhi, February 17, 2025: A stampede occurred at New Delhi Railway Station on February 15 when confusion over a platform change led to chaos. Thousands of people, headed to the Kumbh Mela for a ritual bath, rushed to the platform when it suddenly changed. The rush resulted in a stampede that claimed the lives of 18 people.
