In a shocking incident from Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, a man brutally murdered his four children with a sharp weapon before hanging himself to death and his grandfather discovered the scene in the morning. The tragedy unfolded while his wife was at her maternal home. Upon receiving the information, the Superintendent of Police (SP) arrived at the scene and an investigation has been launched.

The victims included three girls and a boy, with the eldest being 12 years old and the youngest a five-year-old boy. According to reports, the accused had suffered an accident in the past, which allegedly led to extreme behavioral changes. The gruesome incident occurred in Manpur Chachari under the Roja police station limits. The police have sent the bodies for post-mortem as the probe continues.

"A 36-year-old man, under some family or mental stress, killed his four innocent children at night and later hanged himself," said SP Rajesh Dwivedi.
