The Supreme Court on Friday, June 21 declined to stay the process of NEET-UG 2024 counselling for the second time in a year. I has also issued a notice to the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Further, the apex court has tagged the fresh pleas along with pending petitions and posts them for hearing on July 8, 2024, reported news agency ANI.

The vacation bench of the court gave the decision during the hearing on pleas calling for a probe, cancellation, and rest of the NEET-UG 2024 exam due to allegations of question paper leaks.

Earlier on Thursday, the Supreme Court had already issued notice to the Centre and NTA on a plea filed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) seeking the transfer of petitions relating to the NEET-UG 2024 examination from different High Courts to the apex court.
