He said that 2 out of 4 criminals snatched the police pistol and opened fire on the policemen in which a policeman was shot in the head. His condition is quite critical. The police had warned before the encounter but those people kept firing.

The court sent them to jail for 10 days. On 4 and 5 December, we interrogated them in jail. This morning, two criminals, Arif and Chintakuta respectively, threw stones and shot at the police by snatching pistol when they came to find the victim's mobile where the incident took place. The police also asked them to surrender but they did not agree. 2 policemen are injured in the encounter. A policeman is shot in the head. His condition remains critical. Telangana police told in its press conference that the encounter took place between 5:45 and 6:15 in the morning. 10 policemen were present at the encounter. An SI and a constable have been injured.
