Tension in Guna After Stone-Pelting During Hanuman Jayanti Procession; Security Tightened In Madhya Pradesh

Security has been ramped up in Guna following a stone-pelting incident during a Hanuman Jayanti procession on Saturday evening. According to officials, the incident occurred around 7:45 PM when members of two communities came face-to-face during the religious event.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Sanjeev Kumar Sinha stated, “We received information about a stone-pelting incident during a procession around 7:45 PM, where two communities came face to face. As soon as the information was received, we immediately deployed our force and brought the situation under control. The current situation is normal.”

Authorities have registered an FIR in connection with the incident, with several individuals named. "Action is being taken against them," the SP confirmed. As a precautionary measure, additional police forces have been deployed in sensitive areas to maintain peace and prevent further unrest. The administration has urged citizens to remain calm and avoid spreading rumors.
