Twitterati praise ISRO for satellite launch

As India crossed another milestone in the launch of satellites, Twitter users on Wednesday praised Indian space agency ISRO that launched the imaging satellite Cartosat3 and 13 US nano satellites into space.

#ISRO trended on Twitter with 20,800 tweets.

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) posted the pictures of the satellite launch from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh and wrote on its official Twitter handle @isro: "Views of #PSLVC47 lift off from Sriharikota. Mission Accomplished. Thanks for your support."

This drew 4,200 retweets and 19,800 likes.

Replying to @isro, one user wrote: "Congratulations to the entire @ISRO team on the successful completion of #PSLVC47 mission today! U made India proud again.

"May your dreams of reaching the stars have no bounds. Let's keep inspiring us like this…. Jai Hind."

Another user remarked: " Proud of you #ISRO for placing #Cartosat3 into orbit this satellite will help in better Imaging and Mapping for various use."

A third user prayed for the success of the Chandrayaan mission too, in the future. "Congratulations #ISRO for the successful mission. In future also #ISRO will succeed in #chandrayaan3...."

Anothert post read: "For the last one month, only political news was more prevalent on the news channels in Maharashtra.... It irritated a lot.... The real good news is that the hard work of our scientists worked on through #PSLVC47".

"Thank you @isro for everything, wishing you many many more success stories in future...," gushed another user.
