Uttar Pradesh Shocker: Five Lives Lost in Separate Incidents Influenced by Spiritual Teachings

In Jalaun's Kalpi Kotwali area, Aman and Balendu tragically ended their lives after being influenced by the teachings of Osho. Meanwhile, in Mathura, Maya, Gauri, and Mahi took their lives by jumping in front of a train, reportedly inspired by the teachings of the spiritual group.

Jalaun Deaths:

Two friends were found dead in a shocking incident in Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh, after allegedly consuming sulfuric acid, reportedly influenced by motivational speaker and self-proclaimed godman Osho Rajneesh. The incident, which occurred late Tuesday night inside a graveyard in Kalpi, has caused a stir in the area.

The deceased have been identified as Aman Verma, 23, a local resident who owned a medical store, and his friend Balendra, 21, from Alampur. Balendra, unmarried and a frequent visitor to Aman's store, died on the spot, while Aman succumbed after informing his family about the incident.

According to reports, the friends were followers of Osho and had recently posted WhatsApp statuses mentioning the religious speaker. Balendra's statuses before the incident included references to death, with one reading "Death Is The Truth." Police were alerted by Aman's family, who discovered the scene and informed authorities.

"The incident sent shockwaves through the area," said a police official. "We are investigating the circumstances leading to their deaths."

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, and police have initiated an inquiry into the matter to ascertain the reasons behind the friends' tragic decision.

Mathura Deaths:

Mathura police identified three girls who were killed after being hit by a goods train in the district four days ago. The deceased were identified as Mahi, Gauri, and Maya, friends from Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The girls had left home with the intention to "meet God," according to letters recovered from their residence.

The trio, aged 15 (Mahi) and two 13-year-olds (Gauri and Maya), reportedly travelled from Bihar to Mathura in search of spiritual fulfilment. On May 24, they tragically ended their lives by jumping in front of a goods train near Bajana bridge in the Highway police station area. Their bodies were sent for postmortem after the incident was reported to the police and GRP.

The police discovered missing reports for the girls in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, and identified them through their shirts, which bore stickers from a Muzaffarpur tailor. Senior Superintendent of Police Shailesh Kumar Pandey confirmed the incident and stated that investigations are ongoing.
