A four-year-old girl was heinously victimized by a man driven by lust. This tragic event occurred while the girl was playing alone outside her house. According to the police, the incident took place on a Friday evening when the accused lured her to the backyard and assaulted her. Upon receiving information about the crime, the Uttar Pradesh Police launched an immediate manhunt. Their efforts paid off the following day when they successfully arrested the suspect.

Chitrakoot Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Chakrapani Tripathi stated on Saturday that the police have registered a case and arrested a 20-year-old man named Shyamu on charges of rape. The ASP also confirmed that the victim was sent to a government hospital for a medical examination.

In May of this year, another troubling case occurred in the Gangoh area of Saharanpur district. A four-year-old disabled Hindu girl was brutally raped by a man named Sameer, the son of Sajid. The crime happened in a sugarcane field after the girl had gone to a Bhandara, a communal meal at a local temple. The accused took advantage of the situation, kidnapped her, and committed the assault before escaping the scene.

The girl, who cannot speak, was left abandoned in the field. Her family realized she was missing and began searching for her, ultimately finding her in critical condition. She was immediately taken to the hospital for urgent medical attention.

Following the incident, senior police officials arrived in the village quickly due to the sensitive nature of the case, which involved two different communities. The accused was apprehended shortly after and confessed to the crime. He was arrested on May 13 and charged under sections 363 and 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), as well as the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The young victim is currently receiving treatment and counseling.
