Now, amid lockdown as businesses gravely suffer, she has refused to hike up prices and continues to sell at the same affordable rate. This, despite the losses incurred. The reason? She doesn’t want the poor to go hungry.
When celebrity chef Vikas Khanna came to know about Amma's work, Vikas Khanna took to Twitter to gather information about Kamalathal Amma.
Vikas Khanna took to Twitter and asked if anyone could give information to him about Kamalathal Amma in Coimbatore, to which many responded.
