Deepika Padukone's visit to Jawaharlal Nehru University to meet students and teachers, who were attacked by a masked individuals last week created a lot of stir. After a day of her visit to JNU, the Bharatiya Janta Party released a video with statements from several celebs supporting the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, or CAA. Deepika is the only A-lister from Bollywood who has come out openly to support JNU students.
The BJP's video, shared on social media this afternoon, features singer Shaan, actors Tanisha Mukerji and Ranvir Shorey and director Anil Sharma, among others.
"The Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019 does not affect any Indian citizen. Watch what the artists have to say about CAA," BJP wrote while sharing the video.
